DLS Hosted PBX Updates – Combined Summary for Weeks of June 4 and June 10, 2025

We hope you’re having a great week! This time, we’re sharing a combined update for the last two weeks. We slipped a bit and missed last week’s update—our sincere apologies, and thank you for your patience.

As always, we remain committed to keeping you informed and your PBX systems running smoothly.

PBX Version Updates

  • As of June 4, 2025 (12:01 A.M.): All 6.0 PBXs were upgraded from v6.0.34 → v6.0.37
  • As of June 10, 2025 (11:32 P.M.): All 6.0 PBXs were upgraded from v6.0.37 → v6.0.40
  • Version 5.7: No changes were made to 5.7 during this period. Version remains at v5.7.88

Highlights of Fixes and Improvements in 6.0

v6.0.40

  • Yealink T48U Expansion Module: Fixed a BLF display issue on the first key of the EXP43 module.
  • Queue Membership Cleanup: Users removed from user groups are now correctly logged out of associated queues.
  • Music On Hold: Added missing MOH directory on new PBXs to ensure proper playback.
  • Status Page Info: Reinstated agent and queue names for inbound calls—this was previously available in 5.7 and is now back in 6.0.

v6.0.39

  • User API Update: Voicemail and SMS endpoints now include contact linkage details for consistency with Calls and Fax APIs.
  • Cisco 7945 Support: These legacy handsets can now register properly with 6.0 PBXs.

v6.0.38

  • Toll-Free Call Blocking: Resolved an issue where FastAGI was misidentifying toll-free numbers as international, preventing calls.

v6.0.37

  • Operator Panel Queue Login: Resolved a queue login failure when only a mirrored extension was registered.
  • Voicemail Envelope: Removed source number from playback (hard-disabled for now; toggle option coming soon).
  • Voicemail Web Access: Corrected folder permission issues preventing Inbox loading.
  • Call Loop Throttling: New logic slows down dialplan loops to reduce system strain.
  • 933/988 and One-Touch Recording: Resolved dial plan errors affecting these features.
  • Scheduled Report Failures: Resolved issues where empty reports caused export failures or skipped scheduled delivery.
  • Call History in Desktop App: Caller name now properly appears in call logs.
  • Queue Agent Re-login Post-Upgrade: Agents will now be automatically logged back into queues after 6.0 upgrades.

Upcoming Improvements

  • PBX-3541: Fix for call report filters by direction/extension.
  • PBX-3563: Several reporting engine improvements are in review and testing.
  • PBX-3590: Fix for call placement from advanced voicemail options.
  • PBX-3473: Campaign Registry enhancements—ready next week.
  • PBX-3519: Operator panel UI/UX upgrades entering production.
  • PBX-3547: PBXCC firewall rule improvements.
  • PBX-3569: Ongoing fixes for predictive dialer behavior.
  • PBX-3408: Polycom/Yealink call pickup issues under investigation.

Desktop Communicator

There were no updates to the Desktop Communicator during this period.


Scheduled Upgrades

Upgrades are ongoing nightly at 11:59 P.M. CST. Some PBXs are pending approval—those will be skipped if confirmation isn’t received by end of day.
