DLS PBX Update Summary – Week of May 6th, 2025
Dear DLS Customers,
As of 11:02 PM CST on May 6th, 2025, all version 6.0 PBXs have been successfully updated from v6.0.22 to v6.0.25.
PBXs on version 5.7 remain at v5.7.87, as no new changes have been introduced for that version this week.

🔧 What’s New in 6.0.25

This week’s update includes several bug fixes and feature improvements, many driven by user feedback:
  • Caller ID in Parked Calls PBXs now preserve and display the original caller ID when a parked call is picked up. Previously, only the parking lot number was shown. Some phones (e.g., Yealink) may require a reboot to apply updated configurations.
  • FastAGI Log Duplication Fix Addressed an internal issue where backend logs were being duplicated by the new FastAGI service.
  • Database Upgrade Blocker Resolved Fixed an issue preventing upgrades to version 6.0 due to legacy malformed database entries.
  • Yealink Missed Call Popup Toggle A new system setting now allows administrators to toggle the missed call pop-up notification on newer Yealink handsets.

🛠 Additional Improvements in Earlier 6.0 Releases

v6.0.24
  • Resolved a bug preventing PBX admins from accessing Rocket.Chat from the Web UI.
v6.0.23
  • Call Quality emails now include extension names and numbers for easier identification.
  • Fixed an issue preventing Call Quality emails from being sent.
  • Resolved a timezone mismatch affecting time range filters in Queue Reports.

❌ No Updates in 5.7

Version 5.7 received no changes this cycle. Updates will be limited going forward unless critical issues arise.

💻 Desktop Communicator 2.3.60

  • Fixed a styling issue with the inbound call pop-up, caused by a missing stylesheet file.

🔮 Upcoming Fixes and Features

  • PBX-3493 – Add option to pre-check “Launch in the Background” on reports.
  • PBX-3492 – Fix timeout issues on the update page for large PBXs.
  • PBX-3403 – Upgrade of default TLS versions (in testing).
  • PBX-3504 – Investigation of stuck calls in FastAGI.
  • PBX-3509 – Panels service fixes are in focus.
  • PBX-3473 – Major updates to TCR (SMS Campaign Registry) integration.
  • PBX-3491 – Fixing issues from recent changes to anonymous inbound call handling.
  • Salesforce Integration – Improvements planned in the coming weeks.

🧪 Internal Tools & Infrastructure

An update was merged allowing internal staff to configure custom port overrides for internal or on-network traffic. This change is non-customer-facing and does not affect PBX versioning.
