- A completely redesigned call analytics engine, offering better performance and insights.
- Background report processing to prevent system slowdowns.
- Improved call center analytics, providing deeper insights into queue and agent performance.
Call Recordings & Storage Efficiency
- Call recordings are now compressed in MP3 format, reducing disk space usage.
User API Enhancements
- Expanded API capabilities, including improved call tracking, SMS management, and provisioning options.
- New API endpoints for customizing PBX portal branding and settings.
Desktop Communicator & Handset Improvements
- Revamped UI with a more intuitive user experience.
- Voicemail notifications added for better message management.
- Feature codes can now be hidden from the Company Directory on handsets.
- You can now manage your personal PBX contacts.
- Add or update call notes.
New Features & Integrations
- Microsoft Teams integration (Beta), allowing full access to Desktop Communicator features within Teams.

Deprecated Features
- The old SMS web app has been replaced with enhanced SMS/MMS capabilities in Desktop Communicator.
- Legacy Desktop Communicator v1 is now deprecated in favor of the improved version.
Upgrade Schedule
The rollout of DLS Hosted PBX 6.0 will begin on Tuesday, March 11th, and continue weekly on Tuesday nights throughout the month. While this update will be applied automatically, if you would like to schedule a specific upgrade window, we are happy to accommodate your request.
