T-3

T-3 Overview

T-3 (or DS-3) is a highly reliable service that offers end-to-end digital transmission of up to 44mbps. It is used where availability and reliability requirements are key for mission-critical applications. This service can be channelized or multiplexed to provide up to 28 DS-1 circuits (equivalent to 672 56k (DS-0) channels).

DLS offers a variety of solutions including fractional, burstable and full DS-3 access:

  • Full
    All 28 channels in the T-3 are enabled and customer has 44 Mbps of total bandwidth available.
  • Burstable
    Customer only pays for average bandwidth usage. Minimum usage is 0-3 Mbps.
  • Fractional
    Only a portion of the 28 channels in a T-3 line are enabled with the rest remaining unused.

Pricing

$1,700.00 - $30,000 per month, depending on location and type of service. Call for custom pricing.

Typically available anywhere standard telephone service is available. Typical installation within 60-90 days.
