Inside Sales Representative and Account Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Growing Internet Solutions Provider located in northwestern suburbs of Chicago is currently seeking to expand its sales team with a full-time Inside Sales Representative and Account Manager. Our Sales Specialists are key to ensuring that we are in tune with our clients telecommunications needs particularly when it comes to their hosted voice, telecommunications and network applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Professionally handle incoming calls and email requests from customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly
  • Prequalify potential customers, track the progress of sales opportunities, provide quotes, fulfill orders, and follow up
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access and fulfill customer needs, educate the customer where applicable
  • Facilitate service orders for adds, deletes, and changes under existing service contracts
  • Work with the operations department to ensure customer satisfaction, facilitate technical support requests when necessary
  • Work with the software development department, facilitate new product feature requests
  • Conduct ongoing needs analysis and update customer contact information, identify new sales opportunities and set up appointment for sales representatives
  • Identify and record new sales leads and opportunities resulting from incoming inquiries, solicit business from prospective customers
  • Perform routine follow up calls to secure renewal of customer’s service contracts
  • Assist in Marketing Efforts
  • Telemarket existing customer base for new sales opportunities
  • Promote entire product offerings; DLS Hosted PBX, Network Services, Managed and Professional Services offerings.
  • Set up qualified appointments for outside sales reps when necessary
  • Close business over the phone when applicable
  • Manage a pipeline and forecast of opportunities
  • Meet or exceed your monthly and / or quarterly sales retention objectives
  • Solicit referrals via our rewards program and relationships you’ve built
  • Become a telecom product expert
  • Provide feedback to sales management, marketing, and executive staff
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Track all sales activities in CRM

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior Inside Sales experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with the PBX and VoIP technologies is preferred but not required
  • Professionalism and high attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • College degree or relevant work experience
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Excellent oral, written, organizational and presentation skills
  • Energetic and fearless with a burning desire to learn and win
